Today I awoke to find my little booties gracing the pages of Cool Mom Picks! To say it's a very cool blog for moms is quite the understatement and I'm sure most of you out there have heard about it. This was the little secret I mentioned in passing about a month ago and it actually came to fruition! I'm trying not to jump up and down and I haven't even called Kevin yet!
The editors at CMP are giving away a pair of my booties and because I'm just so excited about this little (big) exposure, I'll be giving away a pair (of your choice) too! All you have to do is post a comment here by Midnight May 13th and I'll choose from there. Hint: it wouldn't hurt to tell me why you so need/want the booties and who the recipient is. I'll announce the winner on Thursday, May 14th and you can pick your very own style and size from my Etsy shop. I hope you'll play along!

Congratulations!
One of my cousins and his wife just had their third baby - the first two are 16 and 10! They are celebrating their 20th anniversary next month.
They weren't quite expecting the new addition, so they are recollecting all of the baby things they used to have. He'd look handsome in some booties.
I can take care of the matching knit hat.
I saw these on CMP as well. I think they are simply adorable! If I had a pair I would probably have to toss a coin as to which sister in law gets them for their new baby...
I've got number two on the way - due Thanksgiving Day! These gorgeous booties would be a great addition to the layette for this poor child who will probably be wearing big brother's hand-me-downs most of his life.
Congrats on your big exposure! I saw these sweet booties on CMP and had to jump over to your blog. I'm having a little girl in June and would love to give her a cute pair of booties. I've found that I'm obsessed with shoes for myself and now for my daughter-to-be! So cute.
THANKS

The booties are so adorable! I wish I was so talented. I am expecting twin boys this July- although I feel as though I am ready to pop as it is! I will have to buy a second pair for Baby "b" as they are too cute - smiling thinking of their little feet.
Also, the peony (I think that is what the bloom is) on the blog is beautiful. I have been trying to grow those but the heat down South is challenging.
I saw your booties on CMP and had to check out your Etsy page.
I would LOVE a pair of these booties for my 9 month old daughter. Her little feet are too chubby on top for most shoes and booties, and they look like they would fit her comfortably. She has so many cute dresses and outfits that look a little silly without shoes. I am a photographer and most of my pictures of her are without shoes because they just don't fit her comfortably.
These are so cute, I'd love to have a pair for my soon-to-be-here little boy bundle of joy. Congratulations on being featured on CMP!
I'm about to have my first child, due in september. I also just took up knitting and LOVE knitted booties. Came here from CMP as well!
Came here from CMP, but I have seen your work on Etsy before and love love love these booties!!
I usually enter giveaways like this because I want to bless friends' babies, but I have to say that this time it is just pure WANT which leads me to leave a comment! I adore all things shoes, but I haven't been putting socks or shoes on my four-month-old for more than a month because she just doesn't have any cute options. I would LOVE to put her darling feet in these booties!
OOoohhh! I'm so excited about 2 giveaways. :) I'd love to have some of these for my son who is 2 months now. I love the colors. I also knit and have just started a crafts blog. Best wishes!
Congrats! My baby sister just had her her first child. I diligently tried to make her some booties - but I can't quite seem to get two booties that look the same. Needless to say, I have spent a lot of time and yarn on this project. I am big fan of your adorable booties, and they sure would look cute on my new newphew Spencer.
These are amazing! I'm expecting my first little one in September - her name is Luella Marie.
We're so very excited, but starting to worry about keeping her warm in our drafty 1910 house during the winter.
The booties would be perfect for her tiny toes!
i'm expecting twins (a boy and a girl) in 5 weeks and these booties are adorable and would be perfect for them! also, i just found out my sister is expecting after a struggle to conceive and this would be a super sweet gift for her and her hubby :)
I'd love a pair of these booties for our 9 mo. old granddaughter, Hayden!
So fun to see you're feature. I must say you are one talented knitter! I'll be honest, I simply would love to have them because they are adorable. Hope this exposure leads you to much deserved success!!

The booties are adorable! I would love to put these little gems on my niece's baby toes!

I adore CMP, and it was great to see your booties featured. I'm an amateur knitter who started the same way you did -- when I was pregnant. I didn't have the same amount of patience, though, so now I sew instead. :)
I would gift these booties to my neighbor who's due in August. I was also pregnant earlier this year and my due date would have been a week after hers. It's a little bittersweet, but every baby is a blessing, and I would like to celebrate hers while also honoring mine.
Congratulations!
I guess I don't really "NEED" them, but your work is so beautiful and my little boy has only ever had hand-me-down shoes. They would look so cute on him. I love them.
Your stuff is really neat! The recipient would be Lucy, who would probably spend all day trying to get them off her feet, but does really need them, since as a third baby living in GA, her mommy almost ever puts shoes on her toes. Her poor little toesies really need some when we visit Grandma in MI.
These booties are simply adorable! I'd love to win them for my niece. Thanks for the giveaway!
You booties are adorable! I think the buttons are a nice touch :). We are expecting a little girl in about a month! Our first :). I also knit and am trying to finish up a blanket for her@
Here from CMP...
I could definitely use a pair of booties, since I am expecting twins in November! The babies can share.
CMP brought me to your blog and now I'm gonna be a blurker! I knitted a hat for my hubby about 5 years ago and just bought baby alpaca/bamboo blend to make matching hats for hubby and baby-on-the-way. I'm hoping your site continues to inspire me so that this luscious yarn doesn't end up in the closet... with the rest of my craft supplies!
I would get them for my best friend who's due in July. Yours are the best I have seen yet.
The booties will be for my daughter. I love dressing her in baby blue!
CONGRATULATIONS! I came across your blog from CMP & your booties you make are absolutely adorable! My hubby says our daughter (5 1/2mos) is too young for shoes but I hear that soft ones, like you make, help baby out! This is our first child & I'd love to put those gorgeous booties on her & change his mind, prove him wrong, plus I have quite a few super cute outfits that they'd go perfectly w/! :) I've already been looking at some but haven't seen any as cute as these! I know they could win him over! I attempted to knit & make some myself but haven't been successful quite yet because one doesn't quite match the other! Our daughter is the 5th grandchild & has received several hand-me-downs but nothing that's HER'S & FIRST booties would just be too cute! Thanks!
I just found your page through Cool Mom Picks. Love it. Our cousins just annouced they are pregnant with thier first baby and we are all bursting with joy. They are asking for our hand-me-downs, but I would love to gift a new pair of booties to celebrate this new little person and give the new mother a beautiful visual to help get her through the rest of her pregnancy.
Came to your page visa CMP. Love the booties and everything on your etsy site. I have a baby shower coming up for a co-worker who is expecting twin boys in July. Of course I'd have to get a second pair for the other baby too!
